Go to
app.m365assessments.com(or select Sign in on m365assessments.com).Select Sign in with Microsoft and sign in with your Microsoft Entra ID work or school account. Your organization's MFA and Conditional Access policies apply as usual.
If this is the first sign-in from your Microsoft Entra tenant, your workspace is created and you become its Owner. You land on the Dashboard with a “Get started in three steps” guide.
Which accounts work
- Microsoft Entra ID work or school accounts: supported.
- Personal Microsoft accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live): not supported.
- There is no separate M365Assessments password. We never see or store your password.
Good to know
Sign-in only asks for your basic profile (openid, profile, email, User.Read). If your company requires admin approval for new apps, Microsoft shows a “Need admin approval” page: ask your IT administrator to approve the M365Assessments sign-in app.
Your new workspace
A new workspace starts as a direct organization with a starter IT Admin allowance (one customer), meant for assessing your own tenant. Its type, plan and exact limits are shown under Settings: Organization and Plan & usage.
Tip
MSP plans (MSP 10, MSP 50, MSP 100) are for MSP organizations. If you're an MSP, contact us and we'll set your workspace up as an MSP organization.
Joining an existing workspace
Only the first person from a Microsoft Entra tenant gets a new workspace automatically. Everyone else joins an existing one:
- With an invitation: open the invitation link an Owner or Admin sent you (it starts with
app.m365assessments.com/invite#) and accept it. Inviting teammates. - With single sign-on & roles (Enterprise): if your organization manages access in Microsoft Entra, you get access as soon as your Entra admin assigns you a role. Managing user permissions in Entra.
If you belong to more than one organization, switch between them with the organization switcher at the top of the portal (Switch organization).
Troubleshooting
“You're not part of an organization yet”
Your account is signed in but isn't a member of any workspace, usually because a colleague already created one. Ask an Owner or Admin to invite you from their Team page, then open the link. Signed in with the wrong account? Select Sign in with a different account.
“You have a pending invitation”
Someone invited you. Open the invitation link they sent (in the same browser) to join. Can’t find it? Ask them to resend it from the Team page.
“Your organization manages access in Entra ID”
Your organization uses single sign-on & roles and your account has no role. Ask your Entra administrator to assign you a role on the M365Assessments app, then sign in again.
“This organization is suspended”
You can still view customers and past reports, but new assessments and changes are disabled. Contact support to reactivate it.
Microsoft says my account is a personal account
Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported. Sign in with the account you use for Microsoft 365 at work.
